Following last week’s disappointing result at Chelmsford, Diss return to Mackenders this Saturday with every intention of securing maximum points against third placed Campion. Campion defeated Diss earlier in the season with a very determined and direct approach. Diss have in the main been able to dominate most of the forward encounters this year but against Campion they were evenly match ,if not just edged out of the game up front.
It is vital that Diss achieve winning bonus points victories in their last two League games in order to secure a League play –off place .
Roger Coombs and David Smith have yet again selected a strong side that will pressure Campion both through the forwards but also attack them through a free flowing and inspirational back division. Jamie Burroughs returns at half back to strengthen the side with Dougie Moir moving to the wing. Tom Holt will revert to full back and Giles West will remain on the wing. In the forwards Coombs keeps the same eight from Chelmsford.
