Training Session

Another training session, this time with local rivals and good friends Woodbridge saw 3 twenty minutes periods played, the idea was that everyone who turned up were required to contribute their fair share. Both teams were missing numerous stalwarts, and several of the players who turned up, for Diss, were tried in new positions, however to be fair, Woodbridge were excellent and fully deserved their 10-7, 24-7 and 22-5 victories. Joe Hegarty and Luke Miller supplied the tries for the hosts. Campbell Young converted twice. The whole event was conducted in a wonderful atmosphere, and the sportsmanship from both teams was extemporary. An upcoming fixture of both full strength squads, which we are promised later in the year, should be very interesting indeed.
