After a month of not being able to field a team we manage to have a team up to Sunday morning with illness and injuries bringing the squad to 12. Holt having a large squad kindly made the team up so the game could be played. Lack of match play and numbers resulted in Holt dominating the game but the Diss Squad played on in the spirit that determination we have come to expect of them. Unfortunately we then received the blow of three injuries in quick succession and the game was abandoned due to concussion and a possible back injury which required an ambulance call out.

I can confirm that Kane walked off the pitch with back muscle spasms and both Dan & George are at home. We hope you have a speedy and safe recovery and see you in three weeks.I would like to thank Holt's First Aid Lady and Shane for the sterling job they carried out concerning these players.

The last note is to commend all our players for carrying on and showing the spirit we have come to rely on.
