What a strange Day

The Day started with such promise and a really good vibe throughout from parents, coaches and players.

The New Kit had arrived team shirts sponsored by C & K Meats and a training top sponsored by The Bull at Bacton.(www.thebullbacton.co.uk)

Traveled to Stowmarket ordered the customary bacon roll and then we all had a dash back to Diss as the jungle drums had got it wrong. It seems we are not the only side to have player shortages and learnt that Stowmarkets U15's and U16's had joined together to play a team at Diss.

Unaware of this we decided to go back to Diss and have a training session. The U16's kindly agreed to give us a short match after they had finished playing.

The boys rolled out looking the part in there New CLEAN kit and certainly put on a display worthy of the sponsorship's.

We would like to thank the U16's for giving us the opportunity to get some match play in as it is something that the boys had been missing and benefited from.
