Norfolk Cup.Diss U15s v Norwich U15s January 10th

Diss took on Norwih with a win in mind. Earlier in the season Diss traveled to and lost by two points in the final play, against the run of the game.
This time Diss played host and wanted to win. Perfect weather for rugby and perfect for our running backs.
Diss Kicked off, attacked and attacked until the backs with excellent hands and passing, with the ball finishing at Tom Elkins to pop over the line for a try. Diss continued attacking and with the packs sharpness and technical skills overpowered Norwich in the rucks continually recycle the ball. Diss found themselves camped in the Norwich half for the first twenty minutes then another attack on the right wing, with Nat Strange producing a try in the corner. Throughout the game Nat playing full back and super speed running at the opposition, worrying and upsetting them. It took twenty minutes before Norwich ventured out off their half, before Diss ran them back again. The first half finishing at 10- 0 to Diss.
Second half was pretty much the same as the first, a recycled ball passed along the line to finish at Ed Saunders on the right wing to touch down and claim his try. An error from Diss, and the ball drops to the ground and a Norwich player hoofs the ball over the line, with a scramble of player Norwich gets their try. Norwich picked up their game in the second half and Diss started to tire, there was no further score.With 100% effort from all players, and their teamwork Diss were able take their win, 15 - 5.
