Diss U15s v Bury St Edmunds

Diss U15s traveled to Bury this week for their fixture. They managed to put a squad of seventeen out against twenty five of Bury.
A nervous start from Diss ko as Bury came back with a quick response to run in a try within the first two minutes. The rest of the first half was a slow process with neither teams making much progress. Half time 5 - 0 to Bury.
The second half Diss played a stronger game, at times they were the strongest team forcing Bury to make several errors. There was a spell in the second half that Diss dropped their guard to let Bury run three consecutive tries past. But Diss the fight up with forward drives with one deemed "held up". The game ended with Diss losing by four tries. Again for Diss the score line didn't reflect the quality of the game. To give mention to boys who've joined the team this recent year. Flourishing and developing into good team players.Ben Brown awarded Diss player of the match.
