Diss U 15s 14 -v 42 Woodbridge U15s

With 2 or 3 key players absent, the Diss side competed well for much of this closely-contested game but let in 3 quick tries mid-way through the second half to undo all their hard work.

The Diss players had many positives, particularly in the first half with their counter-rucking described as "the best I've seen all season" by the visiting coach. With tries from Tom and Alfie, both converted by Aaron, they trailed by a single score 14-17 at the break.

But as fatigue set in during the second period, legs slowed and gaps appeared which the boys from Suffolk were able to exploit. However, despite the score line, the Diss heads didn't drop and Woodbridge had to work for their win. As always, a very good game of rugby between these evenly matched sides, which was ultimately disappointing from the home team's point of view.
