U10's visit Swaffham to play in the Prima Cup

13 boys were picked for the squad to have the chance to play at Welland Rd on the 17th December in the quarter finals.Only two teams could go forward.In our pool we played Woodbridge,Swaffham,Chelsmford,West Norfolk and Lowestoft & Yarmouth.

Our first game was against Woodbridge a club we had only met once a long time ago. Diss came out strong on the attack to take the first try scored bt Shaun, followed by Woodbridge equaling,only for us to win with a try scored by Fynn. Diss 2 Woodbridge 1

After our minute silence Diss came out on the attack when they played Swaffham to win. Seb scored our first 5 tries. Diss 6 Swaffham 0

Diss played their 3rd game against West Norfolk and were very slow on attack although defended well we were the only club to score a try against them!Our try scorer was Seb Turner West Norfolk 4 Diss 1

At last a rest for the boys after playing 3 matches back to back!
Our 4th games was against Chelmsford a club we had never played before,but with good driving,attacking we took our first try scored by Sam John,followed by Chelmsford equaling. We then went on to win by another 2 trys scored by Lukas & Shaun

Last games also saw us take the lead against Lowestoft & Yarmouth to win 3 0

The boys didn't make the quarter finals but came 2nd out of the pool.West Norfolk will go through to the play at Welland Road,along with Bury.

Diss boys can walk away with their heads held high they played extremly well as a team,with commitment to attack,and defend,they were enjoying it and having fun which as a spectator,parent & manager was good to see, and to end the day the boys had their team photograph taken with Ben Youngs!
