Having again been denied entrance to the Eastern counties league this season this game was the latest in a number of total mismatches for the Saracens in recent years.
Lakenham put in 100% effort from start to finish but simply had no answer to the skill and pace against them. In perfect running rugby conditions the tries were run in throughout both halves as the Saracens showed their attacking flair and much improved decision making from the whole team.
Bobby Brown back from university ran in 5 tries, Matt Cannon 2, James Nichols 2, Matt Trede 2, Adam Rogers 2, Martin Sands 1, Giles West 1, Luke Bailey 1, Andrew Langham Service threw up lots of quality ball for the team and scored one try himself while John O’Bergin in only his second ever game ran in a solo try, Matt Trede converted 4 and Seb Goodge converted 7.
A special mention must also go to Raymond Knapp who supported many of the try scorers.
