Luke Bailey started it with a pick from the base of the scrum and drive into the corner. Debutant Joe Seaman, who had an impressive afternoon, made a telling break before passing out to Seb Goodge who powered in at the corner. Adam Rogers then caught the ball on opposition lineout ball and ran round 3 players to score from long range and already Wymondham heads were dropping 10 minutes into the game. The Saracens continued the first half playing with great continuity between the forwards and backs as Alan Goymour, Paul Coomber, Pete Charterrier and James Nichols each ran tries in.
The second half predictably became a bit more disjointed but saw Coomber and Goymour score their hat-tricks and Nichols add a further try. Pete Charterrier managed 1 conversion from 10 attempts while Seb Goodge landed 2 from 2. Wymondham managed a consolation score through their forwards late on, rewarding their efforts on an entertaining afternoon.
