Another landslide victory for the Saracens was based on a willingness to keep the ball in hand and a patience to create gaps on a narrow pitch.
With a number of changes from the previous week youngster Trevor Groom was given his senior debut and while not yet having the strength showed great pace throughout. The first half saw a number of tries involving ten or more passes with forwards and backs inter-passing at will.
The second half was predictably a more scrappy affair, but still the scores kept coming. The Lowestoft team, clearly inspired by the motivational posters in the changing rooms, kept trying throughout but were rarely able to threaten.
The Diss scorers were Bray (2), Horne R, Walker, Goymour, Aldous, Moir, Coombes, Groom, Page (2), and Deacon with Seb Goodge adding the conversions.
