After losing Ben Walker to the firsts on Saturday morning, Paul Coombers tractor breaking down and then Ed Colburn to injury in the warm up the Saracens had to play the entire game with 14 men against a team yet to lose at home this season. The first half was a close with neither team able to finish chances, eventually from a penalty a quick tap and then a pinpoint cross field kick from Seb Goodge saw Josh Monks go in at the far corner making the score 5-0 at half time.
The much improved Watton team asked questions throughout but were unable to get through the often scrambling Diss defence with Garnham, Moir, Knapp and Hemmant proving their worth.
The Diss pack increased the pressure on their opposite numbers with Henry Passmore providing good lineout possession and the scrum dominant laying the platform for 4 more forwards tries in the second half for Chris Aldous, Ethan Page, Passmore and Paul Cayley, while winger Tyrone Miller went close and Goodge added the conversions.
