The Saracens further cemented top place in the league with an important victory away to third placed Holt. While the score line suggests a comfortable win, the Saracens again showed tremendous team spirit to deny the opposition a try and on several occasions were camped on their line before clearing the danger. With a series of crunching tackles at the back Tom Holt showed the team the way forward alongside the usual efforts of Wilbur Hemmant and youngster Nick Garnham. While the Holt team had to be content with three well struck penalties, the Diss team were able to turn pressure into tries with Josh Monks barging over for a typical try and Ethan Page scoring again after good link play from pacey newcomer Schalk Van Der Horne.
With a narrow half time lead of 10-9 the Saracens used the wind in their favour in the second half and a superbly struck penalty by Seb Goodge extended their lead before further pressure saw Adam Williamson use his speed for a long range try, newcomer Ben Stimson then powered over before continual infringement from an under pressure Holt saw the referee award a penalty try all of which were predictably converted by Goodge. Tarquin Miller was unlucky not to score while Ted Wishart and Jacob Page showed continued promise for the future.
