It was first versus second in the Norfolk merit table and with a comprehensive win the Saracens confirmed an unassailable lead in the league winning the title with two rounds still remaining. The typical offloading game and varied attack saw them run in tries throughout the match. The forwards set the platform with Jacob Page providing a stream of good possession from the lineout while the rampaging Josh Monks ran in four tries. Also on the scoreboard in the forwards were Karlton Gray, Vic Garnham, Ritchie Horne and Page.
The Saracens backs showed great pace to complement the forwards and scores came from the returning Chris Trede and Trent Miller while George Baker continued to show promise with Raymond Knapp running strongly and Matt York provided solidity at the back. Wilbur Hemmant provided great link work all afternoon while Seb Goodge controlled the possession and kicked the conversions. Watton, although struggling for possession, showed great character and deserved their two tries in an entertaining encounter. The Saracens record breaking season continues with the first part of the historic treble now complete.
