Diss carried on where they left off from the previous week after the victory over Broadland with a close encounter with Crusaders who had old friends like Nick Kingsley playing and James Cook who both played at Diss.
Diss soon got in their stride and began to play well and even though Crusaders tackled well a well set up try sent through John Alexander to score close to the posts. Crusaders began to dominate play at the scrums and the mauls and soon after came close to scoring but Diss defended stoutly on their try line. The first half followed a similar pattern all half with Diss having most of the possession with Steve MacQueen going close out wide.
The second half followed a similar pattern with Diss playing all the decent rugby but Crusaders dominating the scrums and the mauls. Diss managed to get on top with a group of scores from a try by Owen Atkinson after a good run by Fergus Newman, Jack Keppel got a drop goal from forty metres out and Ethan Page went over in the corner for another try to add to his tally for the season. Seb Goodge somehow managed a drop kick conversion from out wide tom seal the victory and that now makes it three wins on the trot for the Thirds.
