Rucks, Scrums and a Few New players

The under 10's enjoyed a fine turnout of 21 players today, including 2 new boys and 2 new girls. The coaching team were kept busy teaching the new elements we are learning this season, rucking and scrummaging, as well as "reminding" the players how to throw, catch and tackle! The weather was kind, and the parents in particular enjoyed the novelty of watching rugby in shirtsleeves. It was lovely to be back at the Club, and there was a noticeable buzz around the pitches and clubhouse today, as the season starts in earnest.

We have a lot to look forward to this season, with a full programme of matches and festivals, as well as hosting the Prima Cup in early October and hopefully a tour at Easter. Bring it on!
