A Disappointing Opening Cup Match

After last weeks match been cancelled the Vixens today opened this seasons cup campaign

Been the first Girls U18 side to enter the Girls National Cup, Club history was to be made no matter the result.

Almost with tradition the heavens opened just before kick off and away we went

The girls in their first match together lost a their focus when they went into half time after conceding 5 very fast tries and at times been outplayed with tactics.

Unfortunately the second half continued as per the first with Wellingborough continuing to have the upper hand. And the game finishing 58-0.

The girls ended up rather battered and bruised after some rather unfair play from the opposition

But onwards and upwards with the next round of the cup in January

Also today we were lucky enough to receive out new tshirts from our sponsors Norfolk Marine Ltd and RDB Construction
